Outcome Team Two

Outcome Team Two is made up of community members who work to help kids from kindergarten through high school graduation. They are led by team Champion, Brenda Warren, who serves on the Green Bay School Board, and Rick Heck, whose “day job” is with Schreiber Foods, Inc., a worldwide company based here in Green Bay, WI that has a strong commitment to volunteerism.

Other team members come to us from local schools, healthcare centers, and community organizations. What they all have in common is a vested interest in the health, welfare and education of our kids, and the desire to see them all successfully graduate high school.

Brenda Warren has been on the school board for Green Bay Area Public Schools since 2004 and has been president since 2012.  She is also currently a PhD student in Educational Leadership at Cardinal Stritch University and is working to finish up her dissertation.  Her research interest is how to improve reading instruction in schools. Brenda is a “retired” pediatrician who worked in Green Bay from 1989-2006.  Since then she has been a stay-at-home mom and a community volunteer in many different capacities. Currently she is a CASA volunteer and a member of the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation board.  Her present hobbies include tennis, biking, reading, travel, and fitness.
Brenda and her husband John (a family practitioner) have three boys: two graduates of East High School (’09 & ’11) and one graduate of John Dewey Academy of Learning (’15).  Their oldest son Scott is an electrical and computer engineer in Illinois.  Their middle son Corey recently graduated from college and is pursuing a career in comedy writing and performance in New York City.  Their youngest son, Mitchell, is in college pursuing his interest in design.
