Action Team Four

Many young adults seek opportunities to learn after high school. Post-secondary options such as 2-year and 4-year programs, the military and licensures (i.e. cosmetology, real estate, trade apprenticeships, etc.) further prepare students for a career by providing necessary knowledge and skills. Unfortunately, far too often students are unable to complete their intended degrees. In Brown County, roughly 50% of full time students who enroll in local post-secondary institutions do not complete their intended degree or certificate within 150% of normal program time [1][2].
The opportunity for Action Team Four is to develop and integrate a system of community support for students enrolled in our local post-secondary institutions to make sure they are able to complete their degrees. Action Team Four kicked off their work in September of 2017. The team is currently researching and exploring institutional efforts to support student success. More information will be added as the team works through our Continuous Improvement Process. For updates, make sure to keep an eye on our News page.
Action Team Four is made up of representatives from two local post-secondary institutions.
